Bridges Charter School in northeastern Wilkes County can remain open under a settlement agreement reached between the school and the State Board of Education.
The agreement, announced Thursday afternoon, rescinded the state school board’s Aug. 2 vote to revoke a state charter that lets Bridges operate as a charter school.
Ms. Cornetto said that under the state board’s rules of procedure, the executive committee can convene to consider legislation and litigation matters that can’t wait until the full board’s next regularly scheduled meeting. Click for more…
