Race to the Top – District grant

NAPCS RTTT-D Consortium TA Webinars THIS WEEK
The U.S. Department of Education announced that 893 potential applicants indicated their intent to apply for the Race to the Top-District Competition. This is not a final list, as giving a notice of intent to apply was not mandatory. Applications are due October 30.

The NAPCS webinar titled “Race to the Top – District Consortium Technical Assistance” will be held on Thursday, September 13th from 2:00 – 3:00 pm Eastern Time for those charter school local education agencies (LEAs) interested in applying for the U.S. Department of Education’s Race to the Top – District grant.

The webinar will be targeted to those charter school LEAs interested in applying as a part of a consortium. Participants will review procedures for completing the application and how public charter schools can participate if they are not an LEA, with special attention paid to creating a consortium of LEAs.  Click here to register.  For more information, please see the Department’s website, you can also email our Director of Intergovernmental Affairs, Kristin Yochum.
