NECP end of school year celebration

TARBORO — Playing tug of war, “jousting” with fellow students in bounce houses, and pie-ing teachers in the face and drenching them in water in a dunking booth was part of the fun Friday at an end of year celebration on the grounds of North East Carolina Prep School (NECP).

“Primarily, these kids worked really hard on academics throughout the year. This last day it was enjoyable to see them let loose and have fun and not worry about academic,” said Taro Knight, director of communications/ community outreach for NECP. “Today was a ‘thank you’ to the students for being a great group of students all year and to the parents for supporting us all year.”
