NC Charter Schools to Discuss Legislative Issues

The NC Public Charter Schools Association (NCPCSA) will hold a series of legislative roundtable forums around the state to help formulate its legislative agenda for 2016 “short” session. Charter school principals, board members, and other leaders are invited to attend, describe challenges for their schools and hear from local legislators.

Charter schools are public schools open to all NC children and provide parents and educators choices which have led to positive academic competition and improved outcomes.

Lee Teague, recently named the Executive Director the NCPCSA said, “The Association’s members and leaders are all charter school leaders. Our goal is to unite all charter schools around an agenda that helps all charter schools. We are the loudest voice for charters in Raleigh, but – to be successful – we need to hear from charter leaders.”
