2015 READY Accountability Results to be Released Sept. 2


The 2015 READY Accountability results will be released at the State Board of Education’s Sept. 2 monthly meeting date. The release time window is between 11 a.m. and noon. The State Board is meeting in the 7th Floor Board Room, Education Building, 301 N. Wilmington Street, Raleigh.

Data being released will provide insight into student academic progress and school performance in 2014-15. This includes student performance on end-of-grade and end-of-course assessments based on five achievement levels, overall student proficiency on end-of-grade and end-of-course assessments, academic growth, School Performance Grades, and four- and five-year cohort graduation rates.

Immediately following the release, a media availability will be held in Room 224 of the Education Building. State Superintendent June Atkinson and Accountability Services Division Director Tammy Howard will be available to address any questions reporters may have regarding the data release.
